Terra Performance Brake Pads Warranty

1. Warranty Coverage & Period

Terra Performance warrants its brake pads to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase or 20,000 kilometers (12,500 miles), whichever comes first.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original retail purchaser of the product with valid proof of purchase from an authorized Terra Performance dealer.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects such as:

• Separation (delamination) of the friction material from the backing plate.
• Cracks or structural failure of the backing plate itself under normal use conditions.

2. Warranty Exclusions & Limitations

This Limited Warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty for Terra Performance products. This warranty DOES NOT cover:

• Normal Wear and Tear: Brake pads are consumable items designed to wear with use. The natural depletion of friction material is not a defect.
• Noise and Dust: High High-performance and racing friction materials often produce more noise (including squeal) and dust than standard OEM pads. These are normal characteristics of the product and not considered defects.
• Improper Installation or Modification: Any product that has been installed incorrectly, modified, or used with non-compatible or worn components (e.g., heavily worn or warped brake discs, faulty calipers).
• Damage from Misuse or Accident: Any product damaged due to accident, collision, negligence, driver error, or exposure to corrosive materials.
• Commercial or Fleet Use: Products installed on vehicles used for commercial or fleet purposes.
• Consequential Damages: Terra Performance shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to the cost of labor for removal and installation, loss of vehicle use, damage to other vehicle parts, towing charges, or personal injury.

3. Motorsport & Competition Use Disclaimer

Due to the extreme and unpredictable nature of competitive motorsport, ANY AND ALL TERRA PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS USED FOR RACING, COMPETITION, TIMED EVENTS (E.G., AUTOCROSS, TIME ATTACK), OR ON A DEDICATED RACING VEHICLE ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY.

This exclusion specifically applies to, but is not limited to, our Terra Performance RACE product line. The use of any Terra Performance product in a motorsport environment is entirely at the owner's risk.

4. Making a Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, the original purchaser must:

1. Contact Terra Performance customer service or the authorized dealer from which the product was purchased.
2. Provide a clear and valid proof of purchase (original receipt).
3. Provide a detailed description of the alleged defect, accompanied by clear photographic or video evidence.
4. Terra Performance may, at its discretion, require the product to be returned for inspection at the customer's expense. If the claim is found to be valid, Terra Performance will reimburse reasonable shipping costs.

5. Resolution of Warranty Claims

If a product is determined by Terra Performance to be defective in material or workmanship, our sole obligation under this warranty will be, at our discretion, to:

• Replace the defective product with a new or equivalent product free of charge.
• Issue a credit for the original purchase price of the product.

6. Legal Disclaimer

This warranty is the only express warranty made by Terra Performance. Any implied warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the term of this Limited Warranty. Some states or jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
